🏉 Northumbria Police RUFC – New Players Wanted for the 2026/27 PSUK Rugby Championship 🏉

With a current squad of 40 players, we are looking to strengthen and expand the team as we prepare to compete in the Cup competition against:

• Merseyside Police
• West Mercia Police
• GMP/Lancashire Police
• West Midlands Police

The Rugby Section has a long and proud history, representing Northumbria Police both locally and nationally. Over the years, the team has played against numerous local rugby clubs and has been a regular competitor in the National Inter-Force Rugby Competition.

Our proudest achievements include five appearances in the National Final, most recently reaching the showpiece event in 2024, where we narrowly finished runners-up to Yorkshire Police.

The club has also provided a pathway for players to progress to higher honours, with numerous Northumbria officers going on to represent both the England Police Rugby Team and the British Police Rugby Team, competing in domestic fixtures and international tours.
