Tennis Section

Northumbria Police tennis is here! We’re currently a small group of individual tennis players looking for more members to grow our tennis team at Northumbria Police. Due to our small number we currently don’t offer regular practices, however practice between members can be arranged at any tennis venue in the North East on an ad-hoc basis.

The team are funded by NPSSC enabling the team to compete up to national level.  We currently compete Regionally (May/June) and Nationally (September) in two events each year. We currently hold regional titles in the Mixed doubles and Mens Singles  as well as a national title in Mixed Doubles in Police Sport UK. There are a number of events to get involved in at any level:
