January Cheviot walk

Yesterday (8th January 2026) members of the club took a walk up onto the Cheviots and the weather conditions were perfect with a dumping of snow the night before giving us dramatic views of the  rolling hills bordering Northumberland and Scotland. We started our walk from Mounthooly , ascended the stunning Hen hole  waterfalls  making our way across to summit Cheviot onto The Schil and back down to the starting point covering just over 8 miles in the snow. A fun and memorable day was had by all topped off with very Lucky weather conditions ❄️⛄
